Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Akrewed.com (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Akrewed. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organization, you affirm that you are authorized to do so.
3. Use of the Platform
Akrewed enables organizations to schedule events and freelance crew. Users may accept shifts, request changes, apply for open shifts, submit surrender requests, manage unavailable periods, view production notes, send in-app messages, manage sync and notification preferences, submit support tickets, and, where available, use AI-assisted planning tools. All users are expected to provide accurate information and act respectfully and lawfully.
AI-assisted features, including staffing suggestions and event summaries, are provided as decision-support tools for authorized users. Users remain responsible for reviewing all generated content and for making final operational, staffing, safety, and client-facing decisions.
4. Google Calendar Integration
Google Calendar syncing is opt-in. When enabled, we create one calendar per organization (with user consent) and sync assigned workshifts to it. We do not access or modify any other calendars in your account. Users may disconnect sync at any time via preferences or Google security settings.
5. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
6. Data and Privacy
Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how your data is collected, used, and protected. We do not sell or share your data.
7. Mobile Applications and Notifications
Akrewed may provide iOS and Android applications for access to schedules, bulletins, messaging, open shifts, timeclock functions, availability preferences, profile information, and related organization features. Mobile app availability and specific features may vary by platform, app version, organization settings, device settings, and operating system behavior.
Push notifications are optional. Users may enable or disable notification categories such as messaging, timeclock reminders, and other app notifications through supported app settings and device settings. Akrewed does not guarantee that any push notification, reminder, badge, or background refresh will be delivered at a specific time or delivered at all.
Timeclock reminders and schedule notices are convenience features only. Users remain responsible for accurately punching in and out, reviewing their schedules, submitting reports, and communicating with their organization according to that organization’s policies.
8. Messaging and User Content
Akrewed in-app messaging is intended for work-related communication within participating organizations. Messages are transmitted over HTTPS and stored by Akrewed for delivery, synchronization, history, support, safety, abuse prevention, security, and administrative purposes. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted.
Users must not send passwords, payment card details, medical information, unlawful content, harassment, spam, or other highly sensitive or inappropriate material through Akrewed messaging, support tickets, shift notes, availability notes, production notes, or other free-text fields.
9. Support Tickets, Accessibility Reports, and Feature Requests
The Platform may provide forms or links that allow users to submit support tickets, accessibility issues, bug reports, and feature requests. By submitting a ticket, you agree that Akrewed may use the submitted information to investigate, communicate about, prioritize, document, and resolve the request.
Users should submit accurate, lawful, and relevant information. Ticket submission does not guarantee a specific response time, remediation timeline, or implementation of a requested feature.
10. Acceptable Use
- Use the platform for unlawful purposes
- Disrupt or overload the system
- Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation
- Use messaging, support tickets, shift notes, or availability notes to harass, threaten, spam, or share highly sensitive information
- Submit false timeclock records, unavailable periods, shift applications, surrender requests, reports, or operational records
- Submit knowingly false, abusive, malicious, or spam support tickets
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. Users may request account deletion at any time.
12. Modifications
We may update these Terms and will notify users of significant changes. Continued use implies acceptance.
13. Disclaimer
The Platform is provided “as is” with no warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
AI-assisted outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for a particular use case. Akrewed does not warrant that AI-generated recommendations, summaries, or planning insights will be error-free or appropriate for any specific event or organizational need.
14. Limitation of Liability
Akrewed and its affiliates are not liable for indirect or consequential damages related to your use of the service.
Without limiting the foregoing, Akrewed is not responsible for losses, damages, scheduling issues, staffing decisions, client communications, or other outcomes arising from reliance on AI-assisted outputs generated through the Platform.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
